Impas Display Typeface

I am a graphic designer based in Bucharest, Romania - Interested in type design, branding and editorial design. I graduated National University of Arts from Bucharest and Impas is my bachelor degree project.

Impas is a sans-serif display, high-contrast typeface that assumes the aesthetics of Constantin Brâncuși’s works and transposes the author’s original contribution into the conceived letters. The project is a valid experiment in graphic design, with reference to the contemporary critical reception of Brâncuși’s significance.

You can get two stylistic versions of Impas: Impas Display and Impas Cut. Both with a very large number of glyphs and lots of supported languages.
